We see every challenge as an opportunity, and our Economic Development initiative helps FLCFBakersfield ensure that those we serve are better prepared to persevere in the unique situations they find themselves in.
The Local Empowerment program is our longest running initiative, based on the premise that making a real difference is not only possible but vital. At FLCFBakersfield, Local Empowerment is a source of great pride for our Social Welfare Organization.
Our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly in the the Love of God that causes us to take actions of our initiatives. From the moment Pastor Michael and Susie Gonzales started FLCF June 17,2012 , to Pastor David and Maritza Mendoza joining as Associate Pastors January 06,2024 They understood that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, together. We strive to make a positive change in our community of Bakersfield, and every family that comes through. Whether its one visit or they choose to join the FLCF family , We Pray the Love and conviction of the Lord is felt through every encounter.
Pastor Michael Gonzales
Pastor Mike as most people call him is married to his amazing wife Susie and has been serving the community of Bakersfield at Family Life Christian Fellowship since July 17, 2012.

Pastor David Mendoza
Pastor David and his lovely wife Sister Maritza have been serving as Associate pastor at Family Life Christian Fellowship since January 06,2024, but has served as a pastor numerous time through out there years of ministry. Currently Pastor David is involved with mens ministry,Outreach, and Music to name a few. Sister Maritza is the Juniors group teacher, and apart of the Worship Team.
